Advisory board member focused on policy and communications for sustainability and digital transformation

An ‘entrepreneurial bureaucrat’ interested in positive impact. Currently working on: Sustainability challenges and opportunities – those required by EU regulations and where innovation can help accelerate the necessary changes; ‘Competitive sustainability’ – i.e. business case and models for triple bottom line; Systems transitions and facilitating change; Leadership for real action; Communication, co-creation, stakeholders, customers, employee engagement. Simply: rewiring business approach and transforming systems.

Katarzyna is currently working as a senior advisor for the EIT Climate-KIC – innovation agency established by the EU; lecturer of ESG MBA at Lazarski University; and other sustainability projects. She has 18 years of experience in various departments of the European Commission having worked on policies, projects and communication related to the green and digital transitions, startups and scaling-up, industry, climate, advocacy, stakeholder engagement. Katarzyna holds a MsC in economics and EU studies from Krakow University of Economics; studied Business Sustainability Management at University of Cambridge. Worked in international sales, business development and journalism in the private sector (start-ups).
