Dr. Fabrizio Palmas is a leading expert in Artificial Intelligence (AI), eXtended Reality (XR), and immersive technologies, with a proven track record of awards, innovation, and leadership across both academia and industry. He currently serves as the Head of Business Development and Business Unit Lead at XIBIX Solutions GmbH, where he drives cutting-edge solutions at the intersection of AI, immersive technology, and cloud infrastructure.

Previously, as Professor, CTO, and COO at the Munich-based XR training company Straightlabs, Fabrizio played a pivotal role in transforming the company from a startup into a scalable and impactful player in the immersive learning space. His entrepreneurial mindset and deep technical expertise enabled the successful integration of XR and AI into next-generation training platforms.

Fabrizio is a founding and board member of XR Bavaria e.V. and contributes to the future of digital education as a member of the Advisory Board at the TUM Center for Educational Technologies.
