Lina is a policy and regulatory affairs advisor with over 15 years of international experience at the intersection of technology, media, and digital governance. Her work focuses on online safety, platform accountability, and the development and implementation of emerging regulatory frameworks.

Most recently, Lina served as Head of Regulatory and Public Affairs at Verifymy, a global safety technology provider building age assurance and content moderation solutions. In that role, she led global engagement with regulators, policymakers, and industry stakeholders, helping shape the implementation of online safety legislation and age assurance standards internationally.

Previously, Lina worked at Meta, where she led regulatory engagement across EMEA on content moderation, online safety, and youth protection. She worked closely with governments and civil society during the development of new digital regulation, helping navigate complex policy debates and regulatory change.

Earlier in her career at Ofcom, the UK’s communications regulator, she contributed to foundational work on online regulation, including the development of Ofcom’s early policy thinking on platform oversight. She began her career at TF1, one of Europe’s largest media groups, focusing on the intersection of content, technology, and regulation.

Lina regularly writes and speaks about online safety and tech regulation, and her work has been featured in media and industry forums.

Based in London, Lina holds a Master’s degree in Law, Economics and Management from École Normale Supérieure and a Master’s degree in Finance and Corporate Strategy from Sciences Po Paris. She also studied European Business Law at Queen Mary University of London.
