Maria

Maria Staskiewicz is a member of the Trilligent Advisory Board and an executive board member of the European Digital Finance Association (EDFA), a trade organization of European fintech companies, which she co-founded in 2020. She is also a member of the Board of the Czech Fintech Association.

For the past seven years, Maria has been working towards fintech-friendly regulation. In her professional capacities, she strives for a single market free from legal barriers and unnecessary burdens, where companies can provide the best financial solutions to European businesses and consumers.

Since 2010, Maria has held several executive positions with a focus on digital and public policies, including as the executive director of the Czech Fintech Association and the deputy executive director of the Aspen Institute Central Europe. Currently, she is also a member of the expert group on European financial data space, reporting to the European Commission on the open finance framework.
