Tech To The Rescue: A Trilligent Case Study

The Challenge

With developments in AI changing business models across industries, the nonprofit and social impact sector faces the challenge of adapting to this evolving landscape.  

To seize this opportunity and ensure new technologies are being harnessed for social good, Tech To The Rescue, a global non-profit organization established in Poland, works to scale proven interventions for social impact, connecting nonprofits and impact organizations with the technology solutions and resources needed to amplify their impact. 

With a global ecosystem spanning 1800+ tech companies, 2000+ impact organizations across 140+ countries, and over 1000 Tech for Good partnerships, Tech To The Rescue has become a leading force in the AI for social impact space – from helping local disaster relief organizations scale their operations using AI-powered logistics in Syria and Lebanon, to automating the monitoring of small arms and weapons incidents for the protection of vulnerable communities in Latin America. 

Tech To The Rescue sought Trilligent’s help to improve its messaging among key stakeholders, with a stronger focus on AI-native and AI-ready organisations looking to maximize their impact. 

Their challenge was twofold: how to clearly communicate their unique value proposition in an increasingly crowded space, and how to effectively reach organisations that were ready to embrace AI for greater social impact.  

The Solution

Our team carried out an extensive messaging review of Tech To The Rescue’s communications across platforms, supplemented by a review of key competitors, to highlight the organization’s unique position in the AI and social impact space.  

Trilligent then organized a communications workshop, bringing together their senior team to discuss and align on a messaging framework that reflects their mission and objectives, allowing the team to align on its current direction and strategic priorities. This refined framework provided Tech To The Rescue with clearer language to describe their work and better tools to engage with their target audiences.  

Additionally, we led specialized workshops on AI legislation and its relevance for nonprofits as part of Tech To The Rescue’s AI Accelerator program – a program that has enabled 150+ ambitious nonprofits since 2024 to build and launch AI for Good solutions. Our workshops helped participating organizations understand regulatory developments and their implications for nonprofit operations. These workshops positioned Tech To The Rescue as thought leaders helping nonprofits navigate the evolving regulatory landscape.  

We also produced a communications roadmap, setting out key events and messaging opportunities for Tech To The Rescue to elevate its visibility and reputation among key stakeholders. This strategic approach gave them clear direction to continue building visibility in the AI for Good space.  

Adapting to AI

For nonprofits, AI is transforming how the sector operates, delivers services, and creates real world impact. From automating administrative tasks to enabling real-time data analysis and personalized service delivery, AI offers nonprofits opportunities to work more efficiently and reach more people. Yet many organizations lack the infrastructure, funding, or strategic clarity to harness these tools effectively, making clear, compelling messaging critical. 

Tech To The Rescue is helping close this gap. Through its AI for Changemakers program and its collaboration with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) on the AI for Good Impact Awards, the organization is shaping a global holistic AI ecosystem ready to support scalable AI impact tackling global challenges from climate change to education and disaster management.  

Successfully leveraging the power of AI for social impact requires clearly communicating the benefits to organizations and providing access to the resources and expertise necessary to drive social change.
